A billboard ad showcasing the Boston Red Sox making the 2025 playoffs. The target audience for this ad are Boston Red Sox fans, specifically living in Boston, near Fenway Park. The marketing objective of this billboard ad is to get fans engaged and excited about the team making the playoffs for the first time in four years. By getting fans engaged and excited about the playoff games it will motivate the players to bring a home playoff game to Fenway Park and keep going on their playoff run. The platform this would work best on is a billboard, specifically by Fenway Park. By having this by Fenway, a huge area filled with college students, we are getting fans excited for this playoff run and supporting the players throughout the rest of the home games at Fenway Park. How this piece uses principles from the class is by keeping the tone the same (engaging and exciting), while also utilizing visuals of current players from this past season (Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer, etc). How I would improve this if I were to revise is by adding a more textured background and becoming more versed in Canva.
